Demeter is a very nervous and paranoid cat. She's always worrying about Macavity who must have catnapped her at sometime. Her best friend is Bombalurina, who could also be her sister. Bombalurina protects and comforts her when she's frightened. It seems in a lot of productions that her mate is Munkastrap but it is also Alonzo. She's one of the less playful cats, she seems more mature, she's the only one of the cats that doesn't fall all over herself when The Rum Tum Tugger is around.

Demeter is a Black Yellow/Gold and white Calico. She's probably around the same age as Bombalurina 22-24 human years, and she's usually around the same height making her one of the taller of the Jellicles.
